What’s New? – Amy Ekins and Rachel Grieves

As part of Wearset’s continual development and improvement, in November we introduced two new staff members. Amy and Rachel are both graduates of English Literature and Creative Writing (Amy 2010, Rachel 2009) and are in the midst of a twelve month on-the-job training programme.

Amy is our Trainee Project Manager, working tirelessly in the Project Management team to ensure that publications run smoothly. Amy works on Academic titles at present, and hopes to expand upon this. An average day involves managing schedules, authors, freelancers, budgets, and proofs.

Rachel is our Trainee Editorial Assistant and diligently works within the Editorial team. Rachel assists with the continuation of high quality standards on all aspects of production material. A typical day for Rachel involves templating files in preparation for typesetting, creating budgets for copy editors and development, and proofreading.
